Why Crimson, White and Indigo?
Yea, I know. I stole it from the Grateful Dead song Standing on the Moon. So what. There are a lot of political blogs out there that simply try too hard to be all things to all people. I'm a big fan of print journalism and, as such, I write a weekly column called "Truth Or Consequences" for a newspaper in Ellicottville N.Y. The link on the right will take you to the paper's site where you can read my column if you so choose. This blog is simply a forum where I can more freely discuss the ideas I write about every week. I will try to follow up on each coulumn and expand on them if possible. Crimson, White and Indigo are the colors of my flag. The ideas, hopes and dreams that they represent have been hijacked by the whores who are currently running the United States government. I'd like to get them back....

The "Surge"; Pimpin' Ain't Easy
For all his bluster and feigned ignorance it turns out that G-Dub is nothing more than an oily, flesh-peddling pimp. The 21,000 troops he recently deployed to Baghdad in order to control the chaos that rules the city are walking into a fire-storm that he created and while he sits at home counting his pennies and covering his ass they are the ones locking eyes with the devil. The service men and women are nothing more then a product in his eyes. They are expendable. They are an excuse and nothing short of outright prosecution or, perhaps, insurrection can make this right.
It's finally time to take a stand. All the flowery sentiments in the world can never fix this. Through his lies and especially his actions Bush and the dogs that snap at his heels have proven that they are incapable of telling the truth. Their lies are directly responsible for the death of thousands of Americans and, perhaps, hundreds of thousands innocent Iraqi civilians. Now, with his runny, shifty eyes focused on Iran we are left with nothing to believe in. We are left with little choice. I'm not sure we have the luxury of waiting for next years election. I will not live under the greasy heels of a shiftless, feckless pimp! Will you?
